When I ordered this, I was expecting something bigger based on the square footage the description said it could handle. While I didn't use it in the intended space because of the size, I placed this in a bedroom and was pleasantly surprised at how well and how quickly it worked. I live in a condo and have been experiencing air quality issues because of a neighbor's smoking. I put this in the bedroom and ran it on high for a few hours. The smell was gone in no time. It's pretty loud on high so I wouldn't suggest using that mode unless you're not in the room. Sleep mode is nice and quiet and the medium isn't much louder than a tower fan. It's lightweight and easy to get up and running. You have the option of turning the lights off, which is nice; however, there's still a tiny indicator light that shows which mode you're in. I wish there was a way to turn that one off at night but it's a minor annoyance. Overall, this is a great buy.

I have two dogs and absolutely HATE walking into my house and finding that “dog smell”. I have one in the living room and one upstairs and I haven’t had any dog smell issues yet. I think it’s also helped my allergies. The high setting is a bit loud but nothing unbearable, kinda blends into the background after a while. I had my suspicions when installing the filter that it wouldn't seal, as there appeared to be no tension against the housing when it was installed. After several days of use, I started noticing heavy dust marks on the OUTPUT of the fan and removed the filter to check. Sure enough, dust along the sealing surface, indicating that it was leaking through without being filtered. I cut a spacer gasket from foam and reinstalled. I'm sure it will seal fine now, but don't like that it didn't work out of the box.

Sleep and medium settings are nice and quiet. High setting is pretty loud but does circulate a large amount of air for it's size. The performance on medium has me wishing there was a slightly higher setting between medium and high, but that was when the filter was leaking. I'll run it for a few days with the new filter spacer on medium and see how it compares.

In the specs on the Afloia website it says it is really for a room of 269 sq. ft. but will clean the air of 1000 sq. ft. in four hours. I was skeptical but it really does do the job. The price is right and the light show is quite nice.

A noticeable difference!

I live in an apartment with popcorn ceilings, which tends to collect a lot of dust and worsen my husband's allergies. I bought this air purifier that was on sale for a good price. The unit has 3 levels: low, high, and sleep mode. I run it on high during the day and low when we go to bed. The noise level is minimal but we also sleep with an oscillating fan on, so it adds to the white noise ambience. The sleep mode is VERY quiet for those who need silence for sleep.

I find the indicator light is too bright, especially in the bedroom where I prefer total darkness for sleeping but chances are most people aren't as fussy as me. I plan to remedy this by using a little piece of tape.

We noticed a difference in the air quality inside our apartment within the first 30 minutes of turning on the unit, which we thought was amazing. I will definitely be considering another unit in the future to put in our spare room.
